Welcome to a new school year!

39 weeks.

I have 39 weeks with your student in 7th grade, and I want to make every lesson, every class, and every week count. I will measure success by how much we grow together. 

I want your child to flourish, to work well with others, and to have a flexible approach to problem solving.

It’s a busy world.

And the best way to manage this for middle schoolers, is to bring a little organization and predictabilty to their lives. Setting up some good communication between you and their math teacher is a good first step here. 

I am free to meet you after school, and I have email, phone, and text listed at the bottom of this page. Don’t hesitate to share your perspective, and I will respond to you as quickly as I can.

Your child is a special individual.

Yes, I do have 140 seventh-grade students, and on day #1, they are just a crowd in my mind. As I get to know each one over the next few weeks, I promise to recognize how special and unique your child is. 

I will do my best to communicate with them in meaningful ways, and I will keep their happiness and their future success in the front of my mind.
